Nurse Wubbel Reaches $500,000 Settlement in Arrest Dispute
Alex Wubbel, the University of Utah Nurse who was arrested after she refused to cooperate on the illegal blood draw without a warrant has reached a settlement with the Salt Lake City Police Department. The agreement will pay Wubbels $500,000 and settle all possibilities of legal action concerning the arrest.
Utah Cop Who Violently Detained Nurse Is Fired
The Utah detective who violently detained a nurse after refusing to take a blood sample has been fired. Salt Lake City police spokesman said that Jeff Payne had been fired in connection with incident.
